Sustainable Infrastructure Workshop with CHINCA
On September 10th, our SGAIN team hosted a delegation of the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) and WWF-China to the University of Bath for an invitation-only workshop. Workshop participants include senior officers from CHINCA, Energy China, JSTI GROUP, British Standards Institute, European Climate Foundation.
Through short presentations and open discussion, participants shared their insights on sustainable infrastructure and identified opportunities and challenges for Chinese infrastructure contractors to improve enviornmental, social and governance performance in their overseas activities.
We were honored to have this opportunity to exchange views and look forward to future collaboration with CHINCA, its member companies and other stakeholders to make Chinese companies' overseas activities more sustainable!
